Teide National Park

The Teide National Park is the largest of the Canary Islands. It is a must tour for anyone visiting Tenerife.

"El Teide" (in Guanche and originally Echeyde or Echeide1) is a volcano located on the island of Tenerife (Canary Islands, Spain). With a height of 3,718 meters above sea level and 7,500 feet above the ocean floor, is the highest peak in Spain, of any landmass Atlantic Ocean and the third largest volcano on Earth from its base on the ocean floor after Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa, both on the island of Hawaii.2 Teide height also makes the island of Tenerife is the tenth highest island in the world.
